Papers of a Madison, Wisconsin, activist concerning his involvement with the Madison Committee to Oppose the Backlash (a group concerned with local reaction to the Iranian Revolution), the History-Forum Collective, the TAA, the U.S. Anti-Imperialist League, and the leftist organization Line of March. Also included in the collection are political posters of local, national, and international concerns. Local posters deal with the 7th Annual Mifflin Street Blockparty, support for Karl Armstrong, marijuana rights, events sponsored by Take Over and the Nottingham Coop as well as a production of a play about the Oshkosh woodworks strike of 1898 titled "Sawdust Aint Enough." National and international concerns include anti Regan and Nixon posters, an anti Shah-Carter poster, Wounded Knee remembrances, Latin American causes, and posters for events sponsored by the Youth International Party and the International Association of Filipino Patriots. There is also an anti-nuclear bumper sticker.
